Skulls and antlers..

 

As death becomes us, it seems like everywhere I look there's a little skull in a sparkly, shined up sort of presentation reminiscing life or perhaps the lack of it. I only taught that Pamela was single capturing these poor little creators heads, paws, claws and spines but as the has gone viral and seems to pread like wildfire there is now plenty of options (to my joy since I'm running a bit late wearing something like this) 

Tom Binns has made some pretty little 'skull jewelry', earrings, bracelets and necklaces..

I had a look at 'fineartamerica' and found a jewelry designer besides Tom B and Pamela Love that makes very skull jewelry, Michael Doyle. I have also fallen in love with mini antlers, well anything deer designed for that matter and could imagine pairing it wildly with pearls and vintage necklaces of different kinds, shapes and lengths. You can browse around Etsy, they have a great selection skull jewelry, little raven heads, teeth and anything bony and 'pretty & vintage' looking..

On my want-wish and need list right now, joyish and over the top wonderful add-ons comes in the odd shapes of warrior rings bringing attitude and eye catching gestures to any outfit, is it insane that I would consider spending $ 400 in a heart beat for any of these rings..I have found a less costly alternative from Erin Wasson's pretty jewelry collection featured at shopbop.com, in shape of an Knuckle Armour Ring, Low Luv knuckle ring

I forgot, I want that blend between green and blue nail polish too..greed ahh..isn't it dangerously good.

 I don't know if it's the season or the Fashion but I feel so attracted to anything rough, hammered, studded, ripped and raw, like unevenly cut gemstones from unearthen. Small prism ring, different colors-comes in the prettiest little wood box..

 

Mania Mania for Bona Drag (totally addictive, I know) Immortal rings is just as wonderfully created as a native 'lord of the ring prop"..

rainbow trout..

Pamela Love New Collection S/S 2011

It's been a pretty, lovely and weather wild 2 days 'living, as we where actually living there'( in Wellington that is..).We have been busy baby sitting a little cat and fishing/shopping at the same day. However strange that is, it's possible, mixing them and actually have time for them both. I got my little spree at Cuba Street amongst over stocked vintage shops and odd and wonderful little flower wall papered stores while my husband tied fishing hooks and prepping bate as the light changed. I actually love doing both, equally and just as much. It's as if I'm a little bit 'country girl', barefoot, jumping between rocks looking for anything worth while using as bate and then it's my opposite: that leather stricken slightly made up yet randomly sea-salty hair in the mornings and of course be-jewelled from Pamela Love and Johnny Ramli..it's all fairly bliss and well summon up to a rainbow trout weekend, just like the trout runs upstream casting colorful shadows in the water, the days in windy Wellington all felt like that, fresh of sea breeze, sparkly and colorful and terribly brief, like a quick moment, a hug by the dock, gold in the horizon and then the sun suddenly sets..
